All housing information gathered in one folder
Everyone who owns a property in Norway has a housing folder linked to the home at Boligmappa. Here you can find documents related to the property, such as documentation from craftsmen
Documents you receive at Boligmappa are automatically forwarded to the folder My Property in Digipost. This makes it easy for you to keep track of new documents related to your home.
You can also upload your own documents, such as receipts, final inspections, or other items in the folder My Property in Digipost, so you have easy access to everything gathered.
New and old documents
If you take over a used home, you may receive a number of older documents related to the home you have purchased. This is completely correct, as you as the new owner should have access to these.
If, on the other hand, you have owned a home for a long time, you will find that only new documents are forwarded to Digipost. You can log in to Boligmappa to access all the documents there.
Documents in Digipost follows you
In Digipost, you have full control over the content. This means that you own the documents until you choose to delete them, and you may forward the to whoever you want. This also applies if you sell or transfer the home to others
Documents at Boligmappa follow the home
Documents at Boligmappa follow the home. This means that if you sell the home, the new owner gets access to Boligmappa. Similarly, you get access to all relevant documents when you take over a used home.
Documents you upload yourself are not forwarded
You can upload your own documents both in Digipost and at Boligmappa. Be aware that documents you upload to Boligmappa are not automatically forwarded to Digipost. There is also no forwarding from Digipost to Boligmappa. Therefore, you should consider who should have access to your uploaded housing documents when deciding where to upload them
